Tables

For the tables i wanted table where both people can come together and collaborate with each, sharing each others ideas or knowledge to create something that is beyond of an individuals capacity. Also while they are working with each other i wanted them to look at the waterfall which is a symbol of power in the natural world, to remind them that they have a power similar to the waterfall in the people world.

Elevators

Ive's elevator is very simple, it is this simplicity that gives him so much power in design and his field, the repetition of the apple logo is also very powerful as we see it everywhere in our everyday lives and also inside of this space bridge and elevator. Lady Gaga's elevator is a Queen chess piece which i found wonderful as a symbol of power as it is the most powerful piece on a chess board and also she is known as the "Queen of pop" where her musical influence and image is taking over the world. They are equal in height because i think both are equal in power.

The Bridge + Textures

For the bridge i wanted to make it unique as bot individuals are so they are formed at each others characters at either end's, ie: Ives, simple design. However as they walked towards the centre of the bridge i wanted a space where they can share and fuse their own unique power to create something that is equal within each other so no textures are in the middle of the bridge. On Ives's side the ground of the bridge is laid out with "island keys" somewhat unnoticeable when using a Mac computer but a ingenious design as it is, evidently, very comfortable. Gaga's side is outrageous in one word. the waves of the foots path is the flow of music and the spikes and other details represent her influence of fashion and music. As everyone consumes their products such as the music or ipod it thought that it was the common ground where they share power.

Lady Gaga Space + Textures

For Lady Gaga's space i wanted to create a stage like appearance because it is the stage where she has the most power because the world is looking at her. There is a hole-like opening in the roof because i wanted natural light to shine on her like a spot light would on stage. Most of the shapes that are formed in this space is idealised from her dress where her image and fashion is very noticeable in magazines. The piano is there because she has also a very powerful capability in music. You may have noticed the "b" shape on the wall this is her consumer power as she has her own set of "beats by Dr Dre" earphones which is proving to be very popular these days. Her influential power is undeniable being on the 100 most influential people on the Time Magazine list.

Jonathan Ives Space + Textures

For Jonathan Ives office i wanted to create something that will be an image of his designs, which is simple but also at the same time a very detailed design, this was idealised from the quote "he was obsessed with detail" which came from an article i read. From this simple and detailed power there is the power of design, and from the power of design we consume this design as our everyday way of living such as using iPods or Macbooks. As we consume more and more of these consumer products, they become an influence to the world as it is evident today in this technological society where Apple is rising gaining considerable power where it initially started off with a simple design.

Isaac Newton - Axonometrics

Hypothesis - "his stubborn attitude hindered his ability to trust his friends and family"

This one shows if we or Newton in the centre of the axonometric there are walls that block us from our family and friends in which ever way we turn and there is our hole at the end because we need our family and friends and due to our stubborn nature we will inevitably fall.

Hypothesis - "He merged religion with sciences and math"

This one is fairly simple it just shows the intersecting nature of the axonometrics with the symbolism of the cross and a seemingly unconnected prism at the end showing the unfinished progress of science.

Sigmund Freud - Axonometrics

Hypothesis - "his research methods were unorthodox"

This prism show the unorthodox nature of a regular cube, the indentations and cut outs show that a regular cube can become a shape of an unorthodox nature.

Hypothesis - "he spent his entire life in poor health"

This one again has cut outs and indentation to show a weak side of Sigmund Freud, a hole in the centre of a prism to emphasise on the poor health he has lived in. Ultimately it is a axonometric of weakness because the shape is not whole but in pieces and pieces missing.

Maria Agnesi - Axonometric

hypothesis - "it was her pioneering nature forged the pathway for female academics"

This axonometrics show the 3 pathways, bottom, middle and top. We can interpret this in many ways, (life, living then death), (childhood, adulthood and pensionhood LOL), or in a woman's case (childhood, puberty and menopause). Im sorry if this offends anyone.

Hypothesis - "Maria's focused and goal driven tendencies helped her succeed in everything she pursued"

intersecting prisms to show the focused nature of Maris, repetition of prisms to emphasise the effect of focus and a prism in the centre to illustrate the goal which she was focused on.
